After our crazy weekend we still had to get up early on Monday to take my sister back down to Birmingham to start her new job. I went along for the ride and to give her a hand moving all her stuff into her new accommodation.
After all the hard work she took us for a walk to go and visit Yorks Bakery Cafe to see where she would be working & for a much needed coffee!
They have just opened the independent artisan bakery & coffee shop and have done a great job fitting it out. If you are in the Birmingham area I would definitely recommend a visit. We had a lovely coffee & a scrummy sandwich mine was called the "Jack Nicholson" - Made with semi sourdough bread, Serrano ham, blue cheese, gherkins & mayo (absolutely gorgeous)
We did buy some bread to take home with us but ended up eating it on the way home whilst stuck in traffic!
